byzig studio is a minority-led firm operating at the intersection of urban design, placemaking, design strategy, and real estate development consulting. They needed a new website designed to present their portfolio of work and allow potential clients to request a consultation.
Research & Discovery
Darius participated in our Brand Discovery Workshop, a key step in laying the groundwork for his new website. The process began with Eden—our signature brand questionnaire that helps uncover essential details and inspires fresh ideas for a brand’s identity and ideal expression. These insights form the cornerstone of brand clarity, creating a shared vision that fuels cohesive and inspired creative work.

Theme: Midnight Modular
The theme, Midnight Modular, blends urban sophistication with a modern modular grid system, ideal for this interdisciplinary design studio. The theme is contemporary and built to showcase byzigs’s work with clarity and style. Its dark background and bold typography let visuals shine, while the modular layout keeps everything organized and easy to navigate.
Design & Development
The design of the byzig website is both futuristic and grounded, utilizing a dark color palette to accentuate project visuals and typography. The circular shapes from the byzig logo ground the eye and are often used as elegant microinteractions in conjunction with a simple line, to keep the eye moving, and to emphasize flow and space in placemaking design.
